Analyzing Your Personality Type

On Friday we reviewed our own personality type based on the colors: Red, White, Yellow and Blue. We also took the 100 Acre Wood Personality test discovering which 'character' you most resembled based on your personality.

Create a personal business letter to be mailed to our school principal, Mr. Dale Winkler. The address is Montgomery County ATC, 682 Woodford Drive, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353.

Discuss with the principal your personality type and what it is that you learned regarding your personality with regard to selecting a career for your future. Analyze the various traits that are positive that you realize are strengths and then analyze and reflect the personality traits that could be taken negatively by others that you realize you will need to work on in the future.

All of us have personality traits that are not always the most pleasing and need to work on. It is when those traits are recognized and polished that growth occurs and we are better able to work with others. Managing our own personalities is much easier then being able to manage others'.

Next, discuss and analyze why it is important to be aware of other personality types that are not yours. Be specific with details in your letter and give examples.

So remember paragraph one you will tap on learning about personality types. The second and third paragraphs you will be discussing your own type--strengths and weaknesses and why is important to know about and to work on your personality with regard to working with others. The last paragraph will be to discuss possible career clusters you have narrowed down to work with.
